The March of the Living, Southern Region is a 2-week international, educational program which brings Jewish teens and adults from all over the world to Poland on Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Memorial Day, to march from Auschwitz to Birkenau. This is the largest concentration camp complex built during World War II. From Poland, the March of the Living Southern Region travels to Israel to observe Yom HaZikaron, Israel Memorial Day, and Yom Ha’Atzmaut, Israel Independence Day. Among the goals of the March of the Living is for teens and adults to learn the lessons of the Holocaust and to lead the Jewish people into the future vowing Never Again.
Due to COVID-19, the 2020 March of the Living has been canceled. We are in the initial planning phase for the 2021 March of the Living. As information becomes available for the 2021 March of the Living, we will post it on our website, www.molsouth.org.
